I love how elegant & versatile this paper pack is! It comes with 12 sheets, 2 each of 6 designs. The coordinating Uptown Compliments pack is perfect for your layout titles and embellishments too!!

To make the bicycle, I used the new Cricut Flower Market Cartridge. I love how you set the dial size just once & everything is cut in proportion for you.

The sunflowers on this next layout were also cut with the Flower Market Cartridge. I love the simplicity of black, white & grey and that you can add add any colour you want and it just pops off the page.

To make this wreath, I used the Artiste Cricut Cartridge from Close To My Heart. The flowers are from page 54 using accent 2 & the "f" key. The 12 large flowers were cut at 8" while the 24 smaller flower were cut at 3". I used our quilling tool & Liquid Glass to make the flowers and hot glue to adhere the flowers to the 12" wooden wreath.

Spring Fling at Camp Koinonia

What a fabulous weekend of crafting, fellowship & food at Camp Koinonia in Southern Manitoba, Canada.

We didn't get everyone in the photo who attended camp but here's on with most of us.  It was 3 glorious days at a camp where they make you feel at home & so special.

Missy & Kevin are our camp hosts & they go above & beyond the call of duty.  Sunday afternoon, Kevin made us these super awesome desserts......soooo yummy!!

Thanks Chef Kevin!

We had a contest using the contents of the goodie bags that everyone received.  Here are our two winners' artwork who each received the same amount of votes from their peeps for the best artwork.  The prize was a $25 CTMH Gift Certificate.  Congratulations Sharon & Linda!

Here's Karine with her Grand Prize for winning the draw.  She had her choice of the Cricut Artiste Bundle or a $50 CTMH Gift Certificate.  Congratulations to all our winners!!

Looking forward to this weekend at Camp Assiniboia, just outside of Winnipeg, Manitoba.  Hope to see you out sometime!

Christmas Card Blog Hop!

Welcome to our first of 2 Blog Hops happening this month. In this Hop you will find that each consultant has created 3 Christmas Cards using non-Christmas paper! We were given the challenge to create these 3 cards using either cardstock or another paper packet of our choice.

If you have just hopped onto my blog, you can start here as this is a circular hop, but if you want to follow us across Canada then please start at the beginning and join Deanne in Newfoundland at Treasures Heart. If you came from Michelle M.'s of Twirl 'n Time then you are in the right place!

For my first card, (4 1/2 x 5 1/2) I used the very versatile Moonlight Paper Pack.

I just love how easy it was to use this "Halloween" paper for "Christmas"!!

The card design is from the NEW Make it From Your Heart Sketch Book, pattern 24.  I did some random stamping on the Slate Cardstock with Slate Ink for the tone on tone effect.   The self adhesive Glitter Ribbon and Bling Gems really make this card POP!

Products used on this card include:
Moonlight Paper
Make it From Your Heart Sketch Book
C1510 Merry and Bright Stamp Set

Art Philosophy Blog Hop

If you are arriving from Crafting with Courtney's blog, you're in the right place.

Welcome to the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge Blog Hop. We are a group of Close to my Heart consultants (well most of us) and will be show casing the very versatile Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge.

Here is a spring floral arrangement I made using the Close to my Heart, exclusive, Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge and the National Scrapbooking Month special offer, called Dotty for You.

I cut lots of 2D flowers in various sizes using a couple of different patterned papers from the Dotty for You paper pack.  It was super fun to sort & nest them, making each so very different.  I inked a few of the flowers using Sky, Sweet Leaf, Sunset, Smoothie & Lagoon Ink.  I used reed diffuser rods, spritzed with a mixture of alcohol & Topiary reinker to color the rods.

The flower pot is from the Dollar Store & garnished with some coffee beans & CTMH ribbon.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog.  Hope you are following regularly.

Now you can hop on over to Audrey's blog

If you get lost along the way here is the entire line up.
